BLOG FOR ANOTHER PLANET
CORONA-DIARIES
1. PROLOGUE
ONCE UPON A TIME
We remember:
(…)
in 1997 I created the dance evening “solos for another planet” in the Academy of Arts/ Munich:
We were three dancers and I danced another solo piece, which was performed again: “Goldfish”*.
Our sound background was the British morning weather forecast: the composition of Matthew/ soundtrack and sound composition of Zoro Babels 1991 “Goldfisch” solo dancepiece:
The accompanying music track had a water drop constantly counting time, a dance piece, which toured in Vienna, Munich and Berlin. So at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in 1997 “solos for another planet” was performed:
We three dancers performed movements which were looked at from the perspective of distant “aliens”, watching human activities, so to speak. The monoton voice of the weather forecast was our sound.
